On June 5th, the National Black, Asian, & Minority Ethnic (BAME) Transplant Alliance (NBTA), invited me to share some of the pratices to boost donor rates I’ve researched in S.E. Asia and Europe. Below are the slides of the presentation. Hopefully they give you a sense of the complexity of organ donation.
BAME tend to need more transplants in the UK, but are less likely to donate. NBTA is a cooperation of different organization hoping to increase blood, stem cell, and organ donation to address the public health crisis.
